VOIP & Telephone Services
Why should I use VOIP?
VOIP is the new generation of telephony services that is challenging traditional fixed line infrastructure. The potential savings are tremendous, simply put, the more lines you have, and the more calls you make, the more you're going to save on your monthly costs. Huge BT bills are a thing of the past.
If you use ADSL broadband, this means you have a landline, which you can now use as a dedicated fax and franking machine line, without the need for a seperate dedicated line for these applicances.
What do I need to use VOIP?
It's very simple, all you need is a reliable internet connection, and an IP Phone for each user, along with an IP PBX if you want multiple lines all on the same number.
People are often concerned about the reliability of VOIP, but the reality is, the service is as reliable as your broadband connection, which is extremely reliable. We recommend BT Business ADSL 2 for your broadband service. As an added bonus, we will also supply a free Vodafone 3G backup dongle so you never lose connectivity.

Case Study
Laing Law, a firm of Bournemouth solicitors, was setting up a new premises, and required 5 phone lines on the same number.
To have this done with BT would have cost in the region of £1500, with monthly costs for each phone line, and the high call prices that go with it.
However, Laing Law opted for a VOIP solution, and was up and running in 2 days using a Draytek 2820 IPPBX and 5 Linksys SPA941 handsets, for a cost of £650. The monthly line rental for all 5 lines is £10.99 per month, with call costs of 1.5p/min to landlines, and 9.5p/min to mobiles.
It's easy to see how much money can be saved by using Voice Over IP.
